Correct. Laser falls under the FDA’s jurisdiction.

@snarlingrabiddog5150
Says the guy that thinks going over an arbitrary speed limit automatically kills people….
February 7th, 2010 at 6:21 am
HAHAHAHAHAHA, Uh……just where in the world did you read that??? I have driven in Europe and in the US. My statement was nothing to that affect. Just don’t drive like an idiot and you will be just fine. Reading 101 is calling for you. FDA’s jurisdiction???? lmao. Yes the food and drug administration regulates optical frequencies, they’re all over that task, lol. Good grief, get your initals correct.

@cameltoast
Truth. “Speeding” doesn’t kill people. Bad drivers do. That being said, people need to use some common sense when driving and guage their driving ability, the road conditions, traffic conditions, weather, the car they are driving and their own driving ability when driving. For the most part speed laws are nothing but a form of taxation that do little to affect road safety despite what cops and politicians say.

I didit know it used frequencies cause it was a light beam
February 11th, 2010 at 9:03 pm
no it is not an i wud ask u to cite me where u got that info from…
February 11th, 2010 at 9:05 pm
that does not mean that have any thing on you lol
February 12th, 2010 at 7:48 pm
@weewoodeal yes light also travels in waves much like sound, but with light the frequency determines the color of the light. it is also generally accepted that light is also made up of particles. this combination of theory is called the waveparticle duality. energy behaves in as both a particle and a wave.
this holds true also for photons and electrons

no more speeding tickets but a ticket straight to jail! ha!
February 19th, 2010 at 8:33 pm
you also need to judge the people’s driving ability around you when you speed not just your own ability. Speed limits aren’t there for your own ability. There are many kinds of drivers. I was going 125mph down the freeway 2 years ago at 11:00pm @ night. Hardly any cars on the road. When a 25 year old girl pulled out in front of me from a bar parking lot. She couldn’t judge my speed at night. Thank god the road was 4 lanes & there was no oncoming traffic or i’d be dead. I still remember her face

Trusted laser jammers do work.. Light is not controlled by the FCC because it isnt a radio wave.. SO you can jam laser. The Problem is the police found a way of charging you with Interfering with a police tool or in the case of speed detectors jamming them can get you introuble..
The real issue is jamming radar. If you messed with radar its like 20 years in jail. But their isnt a proven product that does so. And if their was the radar jammer would need an antenna as big as the front bumper o

No more speeding tickets is right! They definitely prevent you from getting a speeding ticket! On the downside though you’ll probably receive a fine that’s much bigger then the speeding ticket make a good investment and buy it

These aren’t guaranteed illegal in all states anyway. Pretty easy to find info on google. I think it’s fair game if they’re allowed to hind behind dumpsters and other bullshit tactics, just evens the field.
March 17th, 2010 at 4:23 am
whats the name of that song
March 24th, 2010 at 8:29 pm
Wonder how well it would work if that charger had a front mounted License plate.
March 28th, 2010 at 8:15 am
Doesn’t matter….nothing needs a front license plate to work for speed measurement…cars are not made of F117 stealth technology.
March 28th, 2010 at 9:12 pm
The only thing I need is my radar detector / list of known cop camping sites. Radar jammers are illegal unfortunately
March 31st, 2010 at 6:57 am
lol true.. Have u ever seen the fake lawn mower cop?
Cops in my area like to sit on a tractor in the median gunning ppl down and dispatching cops down the street. lol I laughed so hard the first time I saw that one.
March 31st, 2010 at 7:09 am
Yeah, I also saw ones that stand around with a hood opened beside the road on an unmarked car and actually have a radar gun in their hand. That kinda stuff just pisses me off honestly.

lol
April 22nd, 2010 at 2:41 pm
@Shineshop2008 I agree but unfortunately, politicians would rather corale the ignorant and let them keep on driving because it brings in more tax dollars.
April 24th, 2010 at 5:02 am
@AceCampano Laser jammers are now illegal in Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.
May 12th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
@stetson6 The only true thing that is helpful to the stealth is its capabilities to deflect radar around it, and fly at night, other than that, they are loud as shit.
May 12th, 2010 at 4:46 pm
@AllYourBase420 the only thing you need to do is grow up and slow down. Before you kill someone.
May 13th, 2010 at 1:30 am
@stetson6 Speeding causes 7% of road accidents. But you already knew that before posting some stupid shit you heard from your mom, right? Stop being a tool. Germany has the autobahn and has smaller accident rates then the US. “b-b-b-but speeding kills!”
